WAUPACA, WI – The Waupaca squad came out on top in the Grand Championship, defeating Hortonville in a tight 2–1 battle.
Both teams showcased strong defense and pitching, keeping the score close throughout the game. Waupaca managed to push across the deciding run late, holding off Hortonville’s rally to secure the victory.
The win gives Waupaca the Grand Championship title, capping off an exciting matchup between two evenly matched teams. Waupaca was in the championship for the 9th consecutive time and now have won 7 of the last 9 championships.
