BONDUEL, WI – With five games scheduled over just four days, Bonduel Post 217 Grizzlies Head Coach Noah Beilfuss knows pitching strategy will be critical as his team prepares for the American Legion Class A State Tournament.
“It’s tough when you’ve got that many games in such a short window,” Beilfuss said. “You’ve really got to be smart with how you use your pitching.”
Luckily, the Grizzlies are entering the tournament with a deep and reliable pitching staff.
“We’ve got a lot of pitching, guys who can throw strikes and get outs,” he added.
Bonduel will open state tournament play against Onalaska at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 1, at New London’s Hatten Stadium.
