SHAWANO, WI – A wide range of local services will be on display as the Elizabeth Street Business Complex in Shawano hosts its upcoming Community Connection Fair on Sunday, August 11th, from 1 to 3 p.m.
The event is open to everyone, but especially those living nearby.
“We’re not just inviting folks that might be interested in the services that our nonprofits have to offer,” said Robyn Shingler, board member of the complex. “We really want the neighborhood to come.”
Attendees can explore the many organizations located within the complex and learn more about the services they offer, including employment resources, education programs, housing support, health care, childcare, food access, and transportation.
“We want to make sure that the people we serve are having all of their needs met through the resources in the building,” Shingler added.
The event will include family-friendly activities, a chance to meet service providers, and an opportunity for community members to see firsthand how the complex is working to support Shawano residents.
