SHAWANO, WI- The Shawano Lobos Tournament continued on Tuesday with Hofa Park and Shawano earning wins.
PANTHERS TOP RANGERS
Hofa Park 4, Navarino 3
It was a dramatic finish Tuesday night as the Hofa Park Panthers secured a 4-3 walk-off win over the Rangers. Tied at three in the bottom of the seventh, Brinton Anderson delivered the game-winning single to cap off the comeback.
Hofa Park struck first in the second inning on a sacrifice fly from Aiden Linsmeyer. The Rangers responded in the third with an RBI single from Bailey Dingeldein and took a 3-1 lead in the fourth on a wild pitch. Hofa Park answered in the fifth, tying the game thanks to a two-run double down the right field line from Mason Dorn.
Dorn also earned the win on the mound, throwing a scoreless seventh inning with one strikeout and one walk. Linsmeyer started for Hofa Park, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits over four innings with four strikeouts. Triston Altman provided solid relief, tossing 1.2 shutout innings.
Ryan Boettcher took the loss for the Rangers, allowing three runs (two earned) on eight hits over 4.2 innings while striking out three. Owen Weber got the start and gave up one run in two innings.
