SHAWANO, WI – Two local standouts are earning well-deserved recognition on the statewide stage. Logan Siple of Shawano and Race Anvelink of Bonduel have been named to the 2025 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-Star teams, joining a prestigious group of athletes from across the state.
Siple, a senior leader for the Hawks this past season, was selected to the Division 2 White All-Star Team, highlighting his impact on both ends of the court. Known for his hustle, defense, and team-first mentality, Siple helped guide Shawano through a competitive Bay Conference schedule. His all-star selection puts him alongside some of the state’s top D2 talent and caps off a strong high school career.
Anvelink, representing Bonduel, was named to the Division 4 White All-Star Team, following a season in which he played a key role in the Bears’ success. A steady presence in Bonduel’s backcourt, Anvelink earned a reputation for his composure, court vision, and ability to hit timely shots. His selection puts a spotlight on the growing talent in smaller school programs across Northeast Wisconsin.
Both players will participate in the annual WBCA All-Star Games today, where top athletes from each division square off in showcase matchups.
