Joyce E. Krolow, age 84 of Clintonville, passed away on Friday evening, June 20, 2025 at ThedaCare Medical Center, Neenah.
Joyce Emily Krolow was born November 25, 1940 in the Town of Grant, Shawano County, daughter to the late Emil & Lydia (Tornow) Malueg. She attended and graduated from Marion High School in 1959. Joyce was later married to Larry Arnold Krolow at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Town of Grant on June 25, 1960. The couple lived in a few different communities locally, but eventually settled in Shiocton to raise their family. Joyce ran an in-home daycare for many of the teachers in the Shiocton School District and also served as a crossing guard for many years. Joyce and Larry did most everything together; they would often try their luck at the casinos, wet a line at their secret fishing spots, and put on an end of the summer fish fry for the entire family. In 1984 they moved to Caroline and purchased the supper club there, renaming it “Larry & Joyce’s Supper Club, (now Hidden Valley). After their retirement in 1994, they settled into the quiet community of Tigerton, until more recently, when they moved to Aster in Clintonville. Joyce enjoyed reading books and spending time with her family. After Larry passed away in 2023, Joyce spent much of her time with Gail Gossett, her long-time best friend.
