The 2025 Bay Conference baseball all-conference teams have been announced, with Seymour junior Xavier Salzman earning top honors as Player of the Year. Salzman, who played a key role as a utility player and designated hitter, was one of seven Seymour players named to the first team, helping lead the Thunder to a dominant conference campaign.
Salzman was joined on the first team by teammates Carson Staffeldt (OF), Brandon Poch (INF), Cayden Staffeldt (INF), Micah Byers (C), and Colten Nieland and Brady Poch as at-large selections. All but two were unanimous choices, showcasing the depth and strength of the Seymour roster. The Thunder’s strong presence continued on the second team with Andrew Felty (INF), Brayden Banker (P), and Titan Milhaupt (C), while honorable mention recognition went to sophomore Ayden Bystol (Utility/DH).
Other unanimous first-team selections included Menasha’s Paul Schmolinske (OF) and Jacob Coopman (P), West De Pere’s Logan Wierzba (P), and Shawano’s Pete Bruette (INF). Also earning first-team spots were Xavier’s Matthew Potter (OF) and West De Pere’s Trey Butterfield (INF).
Shawano’s Crew Weisnicht (INF) earned second-team honors alongside Menasha’s Trevor Debriyn (INF), New London’s Tommy Fields (INF), and Xavier’s Kyler Bleck (P). New London’s Troy Degenette was named to the second team as a utility player.
The honorable mention list also featured several standouts, including West De Pere’s Ethan Collar, Sammy Berg, and Brady Leurquin (all infield), Menasha’s Jake Osentoski (INF) and Owen Aykens (C), New London’s Logan Te Haken (INF), and Shawano pitcher Grant Keszo. Green Bay East/West was also represented by Vance Dekeyser (INF) and Brady Anderson (P).
