WAUPACA, WI- The Seymour Thunder will play in their first ever State Tournament game after winning the Division 2 Sectional on Tuesday.
The Thunder used a walk-off hit in the 7th inning to beat Little Chute 5-4 in the Semifinal, and rolled past Waupun 14-1 in five innings in the Championship game.
Waupun won a marathon 11 inning game over Kewaskum 2-1 and ran short on pitching.
Seymour put together a big fourth inning to pull away.
