Leslie A. “Lee” Portwood, age 61, of Shawano, formerly of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Birch Hill Health Services in Shawano. Lee was born September 10, 1963, in Green Bay, a daughter of the late David Jonet and Dorothy Slimmer. She lived in Appleton for the majority of her life before relocating to Shawano. Lee was united in marriage to Jim Fraser in Appleton. She assisted her husband at Fraser’s Bar in Appleton as a bartender until they sold the business. The couple later divorced but they cherished their continued friendship. Lee enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo. Above all, she loved becoming a grandma.
Survivors include her children, Michelle (Baobi) Noel and Brooke Houston; three grandchildren, Vada Noel, Aysa Reeves, and Austin Reeves; siblings, Ken and Samantha. Lee was preceded in death by her friend, Jim Fraser; infant brother; and faithful companion, Izzy.
In keeping with Lee’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
