CLINTONVILLE, WI- Clintonville Utilities has announced it will be conducting routine fire hydrant flushing over two separate weeks in May. The work is scheduled to take place Monday, May 5 through Thursday, May 8, and again from Monday, May 12 through Thursday, May 15, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day.
The flushing process is a standard maintenance practice that helps ensure water quality and system reliability. Residents may notice temporary water discoloration during this time. If discoloration occurs, officials advise customers to stop using water immediately, wait 30 to 60 minutes, and then flush cold water taps only until the water runs clear.
