GREEN BAY, WI- Amid the sea of fans representing all 32 NFL teams at this year’s NFL Draft, one enthusiastic supporter stood out—not just for his vibrant outfit, but for his unwavering dedication to the Green Bay Packers.
Nathan, a Green Bay native who recently moved from San Jose, California, made the trip to the NFL Draft for the very first time, proudly donning his traditional game day attire.
“This is what I wear to game days. Hot, cold, doesn’t matter,” said Nathan, gesturing to his Packers-themed gear. “I wear layers underneath if I need to, but this is what I wear.”
Though it’s his first time attending the NFL Draft in person, Nathan is no stranger to football fandom. “I have one season ticket in row six in the end zone,” he shared with a smile.
But even with his experience at Lambeau Field, Nathan says the Draft is a different beast altogether.
“Oh, it’s way bigger. Way bigger,” he said of the crowd. “At a game, you just see two sets of attire, basically. Here, you see everything.”
The draft crowd isn’t divided by rivalries, but united by love of the game. “At a game, you’re competing with each other. Here, everybody’s just curious and loves the NFL,” Nathan said.
He called the event “cool” and “fun,” marveling at the chance to see fans from all over the country—many representing teams he’s never seen in person before. “It’s everybody. It’s every team. Everybody’s here for a fun reason.”
For Nathan, it’s not just about the picks or the prospects—it’s about the experience, the energy, and the NFL community that stretches far beyond the end zones of Lambeau Field.
