GILLETT, WI- Gillett Elementary School teacher Tammy Dantoin has been honored as a 2025 Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Fellow, recognizing her commitment to teaching excellence, classroom innovation, and professional leadership.
The prestigious fellowship, awarded annually to 100 Wisconsin educators, includes a $6,000 grant for each recipient and their respective school. The funds are intended to support teachers in achieving unrealized classroom goals or furthering professional development.
Dantoin, a veteran educator with 31 years of teaching experience, first joined Gillett Elementary in 2002. After a brief hiatus in 2012, she returned in 2018—and she says she’s here to stay.
