SHAWANO, WI- Sacred Heart Catholic School in Shawano held its first-ever McTeacher’s Night on April 16, and the event was a tremendous success, thanks to strong community support, dedicated school staff, and the generosity of Shawano McDonald’s owner David Schanock.
Over the course of the three-hour event, Sacred Heart Catholic School received a $500 donation, a result of the overwhelming participation from families and the efforts of the school’s staff, who volunteered their time after school hours.

Teachers and staff members took on a variety of roles throughout the evening, delivering food to dining room guests, assisting drive-thru customers, making ice cream cones, passing out treat coupons, and greeting everyone with smiles and enthusiasm. McDonald’s even provided special aprons, hats, and a prize wheel to make the night extra special.
Sacred Heart Catholic School extends a heartfelt thank you to all the staff who volunteered, the many families and community members who attended, and the incredible McDonald’s team for hosting and supporting the event.
