CLINTONVILLE, WI- Hazmat crews were dispatched to Clintonville on Monday afternoon following a sewage truck accident that caused a spill near a daycare center.
The incident happened at about 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of Deer Creek Road and Highway 45, just outside the Mother Goose Family Daycare.
Deputy Wayde Ernstmeyer of the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office said no one was hurt.
Investigators say the truck tipped over after the driver attempted a sharp turn onto Deer Creek Road, causing the vehicle to flip onto its side.
Emergency teams worked quickly to contain the spill and ensure the safety of the area while traffic was rerouted during cleanup efforts.
