WAUPACA, WI- A Clintonville man, previously charged with domestic violence, now faces new charges of stalking and violating a restraining order.
David B. Holder, 29, has been charged with felony stalking, 17 counts of violating a restraining order, and three counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.
In January 2024, Waupaca County Circuit Court Judge Raymond Huber issued a restraining order against Holder, which remains in effect until 2028. Holder had been charged with domestic abuse-related offenses, including operating a firearm while intoxicated and disorderly conduct, following a November 2023 incident where he allegedly punched a hole in a bedroom door.
Despite the restraining order, Holder reportedly made 17 phone calls to the woman who obtained the order, causing her to fear for her safety. These calls occurred while Holder was in jail, where he has been held since May 3 on a $2,500 cash bond.
