Despite strong performances that led to three tie-breakers, the Hawks couldn’t secure the win. Shawano’s victories came from Rachael Carroll, Jaelyn Hietpas, and Ava Hoffman in singles, as well as their top singles player Kate Johnston, who fought hard in a three-set match. However, New London clinched the match with their doubles teams, including a decisive win in the second doubles match.
