MARSHFIELD, WI- Shawano secured second place at the six-team tournament with a 4-1 record. Marshfield clinched the top spot with a perfect 5-0 performance. Shawano’s victories included wins over Abbotsford (25-14, 20-25, 15-9), a sweep of Antigo (25-14, 25-18), and dominant wins against Ladysmith (25-10, 25-11) and Mondovi (25-13, 25-11). The only blemish on Shawano’s record came from a defeat to Marshfield, who won decisively 25-18, 25-10.
