Cecil scored right away taking a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Navarino would tie the game in the 2nd on a ground ball by Mason Dingeldein scoring Anthony Tomczak. Tomczak would lead off the 4th inning with a solo home run . Kyle Finger was then hit by a pitch followed by singles from Bennett Schmidt and Mason Dingeldein. Spencer Dauphinee’s single would score Finger and Schmidt extending the lead to 4-1. A James Mutchie sac bunt set up a RBI ground out for Bailey Dingeldein making it 5-1 after 4 innings. The Rangers would continue the scoring in the 5th as Schmidt singled in Tomczak followed by Dauphinee driving in Finger and Schmidt. Cecil would plate a run in the 9th for their 2nd run of the game. James Mutchie picks up the win throwing 6 solid innings allowing 1 run on 3 hits. The crafty veteran Mike Dingeldein pitched the 7th and 8thing inning as Kyle Finger threw the 9th. Anthony Tomczak was named the tournament MVP going 5-7 hitting 2 home runs and a double while driving in 4.
