STRATFORD, WI- The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office has apprehended Bart Baumann, a man considered to be “armed and dangerous.”
Baumann, 35, was being actively sought by officials in the Stratford area. He was last seen on foot, shirtless, and armed. Baumann stands approximately 5’7″ tall, weighs around 180 lbs, and has numerous tattoos.
In addition to being spotted on foot, Baumann had also been seen driving a maroon 2014 Ford Fusion Sedan with the license plate ATE7428. He was wanted on a felony warrant.
Authorities had warned the public to be vigilant and report any sightings of Baumann or his vehicle. Thanks to the efforts of law enforcement, he is now in custody. Further details regarding his arrest have not been disclosed.
