Kathleen P. Raeder, age 73, of Shawano, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family early Friday morning, June 28, 2024. Kathleen was born November 13, 1950, in Los Angeles, California. She grew up in California and attended school there. Following school, she met her husband and moved to Wisconsin. Kathleen worked as a security guard most of her younger days. When she moved to Shawano, she owned her own cleaning company and
worked housekeeping and laundry at ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano. Kathleen retired in 2023 from the hospital to spend more time with her family. Kathleen is a member of the Church on the Hill in Shawano. She enjoyed visiting with friends and family, working on her home, gardening, and nature in all of its forms.
Survivors include her two sons, Willie Raeder of Madison and Jason (Stefanie) Raeder of Shawano; nine grandchildren, Miranda Pollnow, Tristian Cook, Kass Bahr, Jerald Raeder, Emma Raeder, Max Graves, Morgan Graves, Sophie Raeder, and Justin Wilder; four great-grandchildren, Willow Pollwow, Nevaeh Pollwow, Josephine Cook, and Kinsley Cook; and her cousin, Robert Hyden.
A time to gather, celebrate, and remember the life of Kathleen will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Mickelson Funeral & Cremation Service of Shawano. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 10:00 am and continue until the time of the closing prayer at 12:00 pm.
