NEW LONDON, WI- On Saturday afternoon, a 4-year-old child was taken to a local hospital after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool in New London, according to police reports.
First responders were dispatched to a home in New London at 3:45 PM on Saturday, as stated in a press release from the police department.
The press release noted that the child was wearing a personal flotation device when discovered unresponsive. CPR was initiated on the child prior to the arrival of law enforcement and was continued by first responders upon reaching the scene.
