Baseball Regional Semifinal action took place on Tuesday
DIVISION 1
Hortonville 7, Green Bay Preble 1
The seventh-seeded Polar Bears secured a regional victory by scoring four runs in the third inning, two in the fourth, and one in the sixth. Broden Butzin played a key role with a double and two RBIs, while Turner Kuhnke and Jack Coenen contributed two hits each for Hortonville. Taiven Gass pitched four innings to earn the win, giving up just one hit and striking out three.

Notre Dame 11, Shawano 5
Walks and errors led to one big inning for Notre Dame in a Regional Semifinal win over Shawano. The Hawks led 5-2 early on and lost the lead in the third inning.

Bonduel 1, Oconto 0
Brodie Hartmann’s leadoff triple in the bottom of the sixth set the stage for Karson Stoss, who drove him in with a sacrifice fly, securing Bonduel’s regional win. The game saw a pitching duel between Noah Weier and Devon Bostwick, who both kept the score tied through three innings. Bostwick exited with an injury, and Riley Susa took over, keeping the Bears scoreless until Bonduel’s breakthrough in the sixth. Weier pitched solidly before Cade Johnson came in to close the seventh inning and earn the save. Bonduel managed five hits, three of which were for extra bases. Colin Margelofsky and Beckett Hartlaben each doubled, and Brodie Hartmann tripled for the Bears.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood 5, Coleman 0
Shiocton 8, Amherst 2
The Chiefs managed to score single runs in the second and third innings, then added three runs in both the fifth and sixth innings to secure the win. Bennett Schmidt led the Chiefs’ offense, going 2-for-4 with a double and driving in two runs. James Mutchie also contributed, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, while Cody Young went 2-for-3.
DIVISION 4
Lena 10, Wausaukee 8
The Wildcats staged a dramatic comeback in the seventh inning, scoring four runs to secure a victory over the Rangers. Tyler Shallow led Lena with two hits and scored five runs. Colt Miller contributed with two hits, including a double, and drove in five runs. Dash Comins also added two hits. Shallow pitched two innings in relief of starter Logan Graef to earn the win.
Three Lakes 7, Laona Wabeno 5
Gibraltar/Washington Island 1, Tigerton 0
Beckett Johnson drove in a run in the second inning to propel the Vikings to a victory over the Tigers. Bennett Isaacson-Krueger earned the win for Gibraltar/Washington Island, allowing just one hit over 5⅓ innings while striking out nine and walking two. Caleb Dahlstrom took the loss for Tigerton, giving up one run on one hit and four walks over 5⅔ innings. Joey Zimdars led Tigerton’s offense with two hits.
