Brian Allen Lange, age 52, passed away surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, April 28, 2024, in Shawano. Brian was born on January 11, 1972, in Shawano to Allen Lange and the late Peggy (Buhrandt) Lange. Graduated from UW Eau Claire with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, he continued his long career as an accountant at Kerber Rose for 25 plus years. Through those years he became very close with many of the staff members and made lifelong friends. In Brian’s free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially golfing with his nephew or catfishing with his father. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan. Brian volunteered at the Lions Club in Clintonville and was a member of the Clintonville Chamber of Commerce and Clintonville Curling Club. Brian was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. Though he was a man of few words, his words were true from his heart.
Brian is survived by sister, Lisa (Dale) Hawkinson; nephew, Hunter; niece, Hailey; and father, Allen.
Brian is preceded in death by his mother, Peggy.
A funeral service for Brian will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday May 4, 2024, at St. James Lutheran Church Pastor Andrew Zobel officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday May 3, 2024, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm then again at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of service. Burial will be held at St. Jakobi Cemetery following the services.
