SHAWANO, WI- All Shawano County Board of Supervisor districts will have candidates in the upcoming April 2 election, ensuring representation across the board.
Chairman Tom Kautza revealed on Feb. 28 that two registered write-in candidates, Curth Korth from County Road Y, Clintonville, and Lowel Hammett from Cloverleaf Lake, Clintonville, are vying for the District 16 seat. Adding to the roster, Curtis Naja of Fairview Way in Shawano stepped in as a registered write-in for the District 5 seat later in the week.
The 5th and 16th Districts were the sole vacancies without official candidates after the January nomination paper deadline.
