CLINTONVILLE, WI- The Clintonville Police Department, in collaboration with the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office and the Marion Police Department, is actively investigating an incident following multiple reports of gunshots in the area of Anne Street and 15th Street. The incident occurred on March 1st, 2024, around 5:03 p.m.
Several concerned citizens dialed emergency services, detailing the sound of gunshots and, in one instance, suspecting the involvement of three individuals. Promptly responding to the calls, officers arrived at the scene to find no individuals present. However, they did discover spent bullet casings in the vicinity where witnesses reported the suspects.
Eyewitnesses provided descriptions of the individuals involved. One suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall male wearing black attire with a hood, while another was reported in a darker shirt paired with jogging pants. The third individual was identified as wearing a black and red top with darker pants.
The Clintonville Police Department is urging anyone with information related to this incident to come forward. The collaborative efforts of multiple law enforcement agencies underscore the seriousness with which they are treating this matter.
