SHAWANO, WI- In the face of a challenging job market, Shawano County has brought on Julie Hasser as the new Director of Human Resources, aiming to address the difficulties of attracting and retaining a skilled workforce. With almost two decades of experience in HR within the private sector, Hasser is well-equipped to navigate the unique challenges posed by the public sector.
Hasser’s appointment comes at a time when the county is actively seeking to fill over a dozen positions across various departments. At a recent Shawano County Board of Supervisors meeting, she expressed her commitment to building connections with the existing staff of over 500 employees and understanding the dynamics of each department.
