SHAWANO, WI- Jeffrey Wilson, 65, of Pulaski, facing a first-degree child sexual assault charge in connection to a July 2022 incident in the Town of Angelica, is anticipated to enter a plea in March. His attorney, Quinn Jolly, revealed that negotiations with the Shawano-Menominee County District Attorney’s office are nearing resolution. A plea hearing is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. on March 21 at Shawano County Courthouse Branch I, with a subsequent sentencing hearing. Wilson was charged on July 26, 2022, following a report by the victim’s mother, alleging Wilson’s inappropriate conduct towards her 6-year-old daughter during visits to his residence, where he is known as “Grandpa Jeff.” In a subsequent interview, the victim detailed the incident, and Wilson eventually admitted to the sexual contact during a phone call and an interview with authorities.
