SHAWANO, WI- Over the span of eight years, the CoVantage Cares Foundation and CoVantage Credit Union have joined forces to conduct an annual two-week fundraising campaign, traditionally commencing on Giving Tuesday. The culmination of this year’s contributions has propelled the cumulative total of the campaign over the eight-year period to an impressive $2.7 million, all dedicated to supporting 90 local organizations.
The CoVantage Cares Foundation proudly declared that this year’s endeavor resulted in the distribution of checks amounting to $435,783. These funds were presented to various local nonprofit groups operating in communities where CoVantage Credit Union maintains branches. The generosity behind this financial support can be attributed to the donations made by CoVantage Credit Union members, dedicated staff, and engaged community members.
This year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin received a donation from the drive.
