Larry A. Krolow, age 83 of Clintonville, passed away early Tuesday morning, December 26, 2023 at The Pine Post Acute and Memory Care, Embarrass.
Larry Arnold Krolow was born January 3, 1940 in Laona, WI, son to the late Arnold E. & Pauline O. (Larson) Krolow. After graduating from Tigerton High School, Larry worked at various local farms as well as at the Standard Filling Station in Clintonville. He was united in marriage to Joyce E. Malueg on June 25, 1960 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Town of Grant. He later worked at Miller Electric as a foreman in the machine shop for over 25 years. In 1984, Larry and Joyce purchased their supper club in Caroline, aptly named Larry & Joyce’s Supper Club, which they owned and operated for 10 years. Larry also worked at the Tigerton Post Office as a rural mail carrier for about 5 years until his retirement. He enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life including the joy of owning and driving many different cars, which he loved to show his family. Larry also enjoyed country music from the likes of Johnny Cash and Conway Twitty. He deer hunted in his younger years, but really enjoyed sharing his love of fishing with his grandchildren. Larry fished year-round and went on some nice trips with his family. He also would commonly be found fishing on The Comet, near Tigerton. Larry will be remembered for the love he had for his daughters and all of his grandchildren. His welcoming, kind personality, and the willingness to give you the shirt off his back, a huge part of Larry’s character, will be missed by friends and family.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joyce
