WAUPACA, WI- Following a reported structure fire, a section of Highway 54 in Waupaca County was temporarily closed, as announced by the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office on Friday at 2:40 p.m. The affected stretch was identified as Highway 54 between County Highway O and Highway 22-54-110 (Spielberg Corners).
In a Facebook post, the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office urged commuters to seek alternative routes, stating, “Please make other arrangements if you normally drive this way. It will be shut down for an undetermined amount of time.”
However, no details regarding the structure fire have been disclosed to the public.
