WILD ROSE, WI- Two individuals are undergoing medical treatment, with one transported by air ambulance, following a fire that occurred at Wild Rose Middle/High School on Thursday.
Wild Rose Fire District reported the incident on Facebook, stating that firefighters responded to a rooftop fire at the active construction site of Wild Rose Middle/High School around 2:12 p.m.
Families were promptly informed of an early school closure, reassuring them that no students or staff suffered injuries. However, two subcontractor employees are currently receiving medical attention, one having been airlifted and the other treated locally.
The cause of the fire remains unknown and is under investigation.
