Gary Richard “Sneak” Kuhn, age 81, passed away on Sunday October 8, 2023, in Shawano. Gary was born on October 19, 1941, in Shawano to the late Alfred “Pug” and Catherine (Hoffman) Kuhn, Sr. Following high school Gary was drafted into the United States Army in 1959 and received his honorable discharge in 1969. Gary worked in road construction and was a member of the local 139. Gary loved snowmobiling and was a member of the Bonduel Snowmobile Club. In his free time, Gary enjoyed hunting, playing cards, and watching boxing and football.
Gary is survived by his children, Andrea Draheim and Heather (Skeeter) Beaulieu; grandchildren, Mason Draheim, Megan, and Aiden Beaulieu; siblings, Michael (Mary Lou) Kuhn, Alfred “Dusty” Kuhn, Jr., and Kevin (Margie) Kuhn; and a sister-in-law, Kathleen Kuhn. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred, Sr. and Catherine, and a brother David Kuhn.
A funeral service for Gary will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday October 12, 2023, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano, with Pastor Scott Ludford officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Military Honors will be conducted after the service.
