VILLAGE OF HARRISON, WI- The Fox Valley Humane Association is facing a significant challenge after rescuing 124 cats from a hoarding situation in the Fox Valley area that occurred on Friday, September 15. This incident is the largest they have ever encountered and is placing a substantial financial and operational burden on the organization.
Initially, they believed there were only 50 cats involved, but it turned out to be a much larger number.
The shelter is urgently appealing to the public for assistance in handling this situation. They estimate that it could cost the organization up to $30,000 to manage this rescue from beginning to end. Financial support is critical, but they also require donations of cat litter, food, and, most importantly, loving homes for the rescued cats.
To support the Fox Valley Humane Association, you can make a donation or find further information on their website. Your support can make a substantial impact in providing care and finding forever homes for these rescued cats.
