Weyauwega-Fremont 55, Spencer/Columbus Catholic 14
In a high-scoring clash on the gridiron, the Weyauwega-Fremont football team secured a commanding 55-14 victory over Spencer/Columbus Catholic. The Weyauwega-Fremont squad got off to a flying start in the first quarter, with Kameron Zielke leading the way. Zielke’s 15-yard rushing touchdown and a 1-yard plunge into the end zone set the tone for Weyauwega-Fremont’s offensive display. They closed the first quarter with a 14-0 lead. As the game progressed, Zielke continued to shine, connecting with his receivers for a total of four touchdown passes. The third quarter featured two more Zielke touchdowns, one to Broc Billington for 48 yards and another on a punt return for 50 yards.Kameron Zielke’s passing accuracy was instrumental in Weyauwega-Fremont’s victory, completing 14 of 19 passes for 247 yards and four touchdowns. Hunter Meisenhelder emerged as a key target, catching four passes for 82 yards and two touchdowns.

Nekoosa staged a comeback to secure a convincing victory over Manawa 36-17. The game featured an incredible turnaround as Nekoosa outscored Manawa 36-0 after falling behind early. The first quarter belonged to Manawa, as they took a 17-0 lead with an 11-yard punt return touchdown by Charlie Wentworth, a 33-yard field goal by Dakota Stroud, and a 42-yard touchdown pass from Stroud to Thomas Bartelt.

Winneconne 39, New London 6
The Winneconne High School football team delivered an impressive performance as they outclassed New London with a resounding 39-6 victory in a thrilling Friday night matchup. Quarterback Brady Immel was the catalyst for Winneconne’s offensive explosion, completing 7 of 11 passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns. His precision passing found its mark with receiver Dylan Sharratt, who hauled in two receptions for 81 yards. Jack Quigley and Ethan Mathe also contributed with crucial receptions. On the ground, Ethan Mathe made his presence felt, rushing for 60 yards and two touchdowns, while Immel added 13 rushing yards.
Xavier 41, Seymour 8
The Hawks delivered a commanding performance at Rocky Bleier Field, overwhelming the Thunder with 35 first-half points. Matthew Potter led the charge with two quick first-quarter touchdowns, while Reid Hietpas contributed both through the air and on the ground. Seymour managed a 25-yard touchdown pass from Xavier Salzman, but it was the Hawks who controlled the game.

Fox Valley Lutheran 28, Denmark 14
The Foxes dominated the Vikings with a final score of 28-14. Jack Egan emerged as the star of the game, delivering two remarkable touchdowns for his team. The Foxes sealed the victory with two defensive touchdowns. Elijah Last intercepted a pass and dashed 43 yards to the end zone, while Dylan Krueger scooped up a fumble and sprinted an astounding 79 yards for another unforgettable score. All of FVL’s scoring action unfolded in the first half, highlighted by Egan’s runs of 9 and 17 yards. Additionally, Liam Heiges connected with Lucas Papendorf on a 70-yard touchdown pass.
Luxemburg Casco 35, Little Chute 14
The game saw a clash of quarterbacks, with Charlie Vanden Burgt of Little Chute completing 14 of 29 passes for 212 yards and two touchdowns, but also throwing two interceptions. On the other side, Max Ronsmann of Luxemburg-Casco had an impressive day, completing 11 of 13 passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns. Ronsmann also led the Luxemburg-Casco rushing attack with 124 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries.
Wrightstown 15, Freedom 14
In a thrilling North Eastern Conference showdown between fierce rivals, it was Kaden Colwell’s two-point conversion run that ultimately decided the game’s fate. The dramatic moment unfolded in the fourth quarter after the Tigers clawed their way back into the contest, narrowing the gap to 14-13 courtesy of a 1-yard touchdown run by Aiden Humphreys. However, a costly offsides penalty on the extra point attempt led the Tigers’ coaching staff to make the decision to go for the two-point conversion from just beyond the 1-yard line. Throughout the game, Landon Helphrey emerged as a standout performer, rushing for an impressive 90 yards on 11 carries and delivering 37-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.
FOX RIVER CLASSIC CONFERENCE
West De Pere 21, Pulaski 13
Duke Shovald’s 218-yard passing performance led the Phantoms to victory over the Red Raiders. West De Pere jumped to a 14-0 lead early. Although Pulaski cut the deficit with a touchdown pass, Shovald struck back with a 66-yard touchdown pass to Joseph Riesenberg. Spencer Hakes ran for 120 yards for Pulaski.

Led by Logan Liegl’s four touchdowns (three passing, one rushing), the Bluejays dominated from the start, securing a 35-0 lead after just one quarter and never looking back. Elijah Gigl rushed for 109 yards and scored, while Jeremiah Zank added two more rushing touchdowns with 87 yards. Menasha’s defense limited the Red Devils to a mere 9 total yards.

Kalvin Mullins of Fond du Lac emerged as the hero with two pivotal fourth-quarter touchdowns that helped the Cardinals secure a commanding lead over the Ghosts. Mullins’ late-game heroics began with a 22-yard run, however, he wasn’t done there. Mullins continued to shine, connecting with Connor Klapperich on a 33-yard pass for his second fourth-quarter touchdown. Earlier in the game, Mullins had already left his mark with a 19-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter. Kaukauna, who had previously remained undefeated, faced their first loss of the season. Finnley Doriot contributed to the Ghosts’ efforts with a 2-yard touchdown run. Connor Kincheloe also found the end zone with touchdown runs of 5 and 1 yards.
Kimberly 42, Appleton East 14
Carson Pendleton orchestrated a masterful performance, throwing four touchdown passes to guide the Papermakers to a decisive victory over the Patriots. Pendleton connected with his targets for scoring strikes of 13 yards to Abe Coronado, 36 and 20 yards to Brennen Grams, and a 22-yard strike to Bryson Vieth. Completing 7 of 13 passes for a total of 105 yards. The Papermakers surged ahead in the game’s opening quarter, thanks to Gavin Tyson’s explosive 26-yard touchdown run on the final play. Tyson dominated on the ground, accumulating an impressive 129 yards on 16 carries, setting the tone for the Papermakers’ dominant victory.

Hortonville 27, Wisconsin Rapids 14
The Hortonville Polar Bears seized control early, amassing a commanding 27-0 lead in the third quarter before the Wisconsin Rapids Red Raiders staged a late-game comeback with two touchdowns. Hortonville’s offense outperformed Wisconsin Rapids, amassing 308 total yards (210 passing and 98 rushing) and securing 17 first downs. However, the Polar Bears had to contend with 17 penalties for 130 yards. Wisconsin Rapids managed 236 total yards (163 rushing and 73 passing) and secured 12 first downs but were penalized nine times for 44 yards.

Oconto Falls 48, Tomahawk 14
Oconto Falls dominated Tomahawk in a high-scoring affair, ending with a 48-14 victory.
The game began with a flurry of Oconto Falls touchdowns in the first quarter. Cole Bozile’s 16-yard run, a 70-yard punt return, and Wyatt Laughrin’s 10-yard rush gave them a 22-0 lead.
In the second quarter, Oconto Falls continued to shine with Laughrin’s 58-yard touchdown run, Isaac Bramer’s 12-yard score, and a 21-yard touchdown pass from Emerich Skarban to Alex Haines, stretching their lead to 42-0.
Oconto Falls kept the pressure on in the third quarter, with Isaac Radart’s 18-yard rushing touchdown. Tomahawk managed two touchdowns, one through the air and one on the ground. On defense, Oconto Falls’ Brady Bursa and Alex Haines contributed with interceptions.

The Wautoma Hornets wasted no time in asserting their dominance, sprinting to an impressive 21-0 lead after just one quarter, ultimately holding off a resilient effort by the Clintonville Truckers. Kade Rosenow led the charge for the Clintonville Truckers. Rosenow displayed his arm talent, completing 10 of 24 passes for 151 yards and orchestrating a touchdown drive to keep his team in the game.

Algoma 54, Gillett 37
In an action-packed football matchup, Algoma emerged victorious with a final score of 54-37 over Gillett. The game started with a bang as both teams quickly found the end zone. Algoma’s Parker Liscka ran for a spectacular 51-yard touchdown, and Gillett responded with a touchdown pass from Jesse DeBauch to Nathan Rowell, adding a two-point conversion. In the second quarter, Algoma maintained their momentum as Liscka scored another rushing touchdown, followed by another successful two-point conversion. Gillett mounted a comeback with DeBauch scoring a rushing touchdown, but they couldn’t convert the two-point attempt. The fourth quarter saw more scoring, with Vandervest adding another rushing touchdown and DeBauch connecting with Ben Debauch for a Gillett touchdown. Algoma’s Vandervest returned a kickoff for an impressive touchdown, and DeBauch scored another rushing touchdown, ending with a touchdown pass to Jed Herzog.
