AMHERST, WI- The Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers had a goal line stand at as time expired in the fourth quarter, securing a 29-22 win over Amherst.

The unbeaten Chargers trailed 7-0 early and trailed 14-7 at the half, after Bryson Schmid found the endzone a 4-yard run. Each team scored a touchdown and key two-point conversion in the third quarter, giving the Falcons a 22-15 lead.
The Chargers had two fourth quarter touchdown passes from Nathan Waupekenay as he connected with Casey Kielman and Owen Dickman for scores in the second half.

As the seconds were winding down, the Chargers defense tackled Amherst quarterback Michael Benjamin just short of the endzone for the win.
Waupekenay was 11 of 19 passing for 157 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for 92 yards and a score. Casey Kielman had 104 receiving yards to lead the Chargers offense.
