Shawano’s Waukechon Street Set to Close Temporarily for Crucial Construction Project

Waukechon Street Shawano will be temporarily closed to through traffic from Monday, September 11th, until October 20th to facilitate an essential street construction project. This closure spans from Green Bay Street to Lieg Avenue, with the intersection of Richmond Street remaining open for as long as possible, although it will need to close briefly for paving. Access to businesses situated along Waukechon Street will be maintained throughout the project. To navigate around the closure, a posted detour route will direct traffic from East Green Bay Street to Lincoln Street and then to Lieg Avenue.
