Week 2 of the High School Football Schedule continues with Non-Conference Matchups and is also the opening week for 8-Man Football.
WEEK 2 SCHEDULE
Feature Game: #6 Wittenberg-Birnamwood (1-0) at Iola-Scandinavia (1-0)
Both Wittenberg-Birnamwood and Iola-Scandinavia had convincing wins in Week 1 as both offenses found a rhythm. The T-Birds punched Shiocton in the mouth early with four first half scores, rolling to a 32-7 victory over the defending State Runner-ups. Jensen Rice had two rushing touchdowns and led Iola-Scandinavia with 80 yards rushing. The Chargers beat Antigo 56-7. Nathan Waupekenay threw three touchdowns and tossed over 200 yards while rushing for another score. The Chargers were up 49-0 before Antigo scored. Wittenberg-Birnamwood scored from all over, scoring on a kick return and an interception return.
