GRAND CHUTE, WI- For the second time in two days, the Fox Valley saw a shooting. On Tuesday, one person was shot by an officer of the Grand Chute Police Department, while officers were serving an arrest warrant.
No names were released, and the Outagamie County Sheriff’s office is now handling the investigation. Officers say the subject was shot, and was injured with what is being called non-life threatening type injuries.
On Monday, officers in Appleton responded to a shooting at Erb Park. One person was injured in that incident and another taken into custody. Appleton police started to add extra patrol to the area.
