WAUPACA, WI- An Iola woman is facing charges in connection to a drug overdose in the Waupaca Foundry parking lot.
25-year-old Jade Weber-Marshak is facing charges of delivery of fentanyl, first-degree reckless endangerment, possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
The incident occurred on June 22 after officers were dispatched to the Waupaca Foundry for an unconscious man that was in a vehicle. According to the report, Narcan was administered and the man was taken to the hospital.
Items related to drug use were found inside the vehicle as well as a powder that tested positive for fentanyl.
During the investigation, it was determined that Facebook messages between the man and Weber-Marshak were taking place. The messages included conversations about drugs, according to the complaint.
Police eventually searched Weber-Marshak’s apartment and located fentanyl and pieces of burnt aluminum foil. There was also a 4-year-old child living in the apartment, according to police.
Weber-Marshak is currently in custody on a $5,000 cash bond.
