FREEDOM, WI- Fire officials were on the scene of a hazardous material spill Wednesday night in Freedom.
The call came in for a semi tractor trailer crash on County N and Greiner Road. Crews arrived on scene just after 10 p.m.
It was discovered that the semi trailer had a load of an alcohol based chemical that was leaking from the crash.
Both Appleton Fire Department Haz Mat team and the Freedom Fire Department worked to control the leak. The scene took over five hours to clear.
