SHAWANO, WI- Shawano Hillcrest Primary and LEADS Principal Heidi White will be leaving the district after one year.
White’s resignation was approved by the Shawano School Board on Monday. The resignation will take place at the end of the school year. White was hired at the start of this year.
“This was a very difficult decision for me,” White said in an email. “I need to be back with my husband and close to my aging parents.”
White added that her focus for this year was around building strong relationships with students and staff.
The Shawano School Board will now be looking at hiring a new Hillcrest Principal and a new High School Principal for the next school year.
Last year, all four school principal positions, as well as Assistant Principal positions were vacant.
