NEW LONDON, WI- The New London Police reported that a missing child and his father were found Wednesday morning in Florida.
Around 5:00AM, Jason Moore made contact with an officer in St. Petersburg, Florida, looking for directions. The officer ran the vehicle through the system and identified him as Jason Moore and his son, 12-year-old Chason. Police took custody of Chason and reunited him with his adult sister who resides in St. Petersburg. It has been reported that Chason is safe and unharmed and will be returning to Wisconsin to be with his mother soon. At this time, no arrests have been made in the case.
It was reported on Tuesday that police were looking for help to check the welfare of 12-year-old Chason Moore. It was reported that Chason and his father Jason did not return home after going to Appleton earlier in the day.
