SHAWANO, WI- The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office sent out a press release Monday, but could not release any additional details about their investigation of an officer involved shooting in the City of Shawano last month.
Sheriff Elect George Lenzner said they are hoping to be able to release more details later this week.
The press release indicated that more than one officer was involved.
“Per department protocol, the involved officers remain on administrative leave. The involved officers have been cooperative with this investigation, and have met
with the Department of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to provide statements.”
Lenzner stated that once their investigation is complete, the findings will then be forward to the Shawano County District Attorney Greg Parker for further review.
