The Village of Iola is set to put on its annual Christmas parade, which is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
The parade route begins at the Iola-Scandinavia High School, runs along Main Street, and ends at the Iola Historical Society. There will be a visit with Santa and entertainment for all children, with a musician and storyteller following the parade at the historical society.
This year will have a performance entitled “Mrs. Charles Dickens” in the machine shed at 11:30 a.m., which is sponsored by the historical society.
The Central Wisconsin Electric Cooperative will be also collecting Toys for Tots at various locations. Items can be donated the day of the parade.
Refreshments will also be on hand, courtesy the Iola Lioness Club.
