Irene “Muggs” Henrickson, age 95 of Clintonville passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center, Clintonville.
The former Irene Irma Lyon was born on January 13, 1927, in Clintonville to Merritt and Alma (Graper) Lyon. In her early days, she helped on her parents’ dairy farm and worked at Hanson Glove Factory, Clintonville, for many years. Then she upholstered furniture at Noritage Inc., Embarrass, for 29 years.
Irene and Donald also owned and operated Henrickson’s Upholstery Shop out of their home workshop for close to 30 years. She proudly did upholstery work for folks all around the area and from every state in the country! Her favorite pastime was baking, especially her famous raised donuts and buns. After her husband preceded her in death on March 13, 2005, she enjoyed taking care of her yard. Irene would often be seen outside on her tractor cutting the lawn or blowing the snow.
