TOWN OF MATTESON, WI- One person was injured in a single vehicle crash Monday night in Waupaca County.
The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Lake Road in the Town of Matteson.
The preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle was traveling northbound on Lake Road, north of County Road C, and went into the east ditch, re-entered the roadway and crossed over into the west ditch where it struck multiple trees. The accident left the driver trapped inside. The driver was extricated by the Clintonville Fire Department and flown to a Neenah hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
