Regional Baseball Tournament action wrapped up on Monday. Area teams punching their ticket for State this week include Denmark, Wittenberg and Seymour.
AA:
Seymour topped Shawano 8-2 in the Championship game of the New London Regional. Seymour defeated Kaukauna 7-4 earlier in the day. Jacob Vannett hit a 3-run walk off home run in the bottom of the 7th inning in the game before to send Post 106 to the Championship game. Seymour enters State 15-4 on the season.
Rhinelander topped Antigo 2-0 in the Championship game of the Merrill Regional. Rhinelander earned wins over Medford 2-1, and Antigo 5-3 earlier in the tournament. Rhinelander is 21-3.
Ashwaubenon won their own hosted Regional with a 4-1 win over Ahnapee. Ashwaubenon topped Reedsville 13-3 and Ahnapee 5-3 earlier in the tournament. Ashwaubenon is 13-8.

Game 1: Beloit (11-10) vs Ashwaubenon (13-8)
Game 3: Seymour (15-4) vs Baraboo (16-4)
Game 2: River Falls (11-11) vs Rhinelander (21-3)
Game 4: Holmen (28-4) vs Fort Atkinson (15-12)

Denmark topped Bonduel 10-2 and went 5-0 in the Freedom Regional, outscoring their opponents 47-3. Denmark opened the tournament with a win over Wrightstown 9-0 and topped Oconto Falls 11-0. They followed with a win over Little Chute 9-0 before beating Clintonville 8-1.
Wittenberg beat Marathon twice in the Championship games of the Tomahawk Regional to advance on to State with wins 10-5 and 7-3 on the finals days, handing Marathon both of their losses in the tournament. Wittenberg opened the tournament with an 11-1 win over Tomahawk and fell to Marathon 4-2. Facing elimination, they rattled of wins over Niagara 7-2 and Crandon 8-1 to advance to the Championship series.

Game 1: Westby (15-7) vs Denmark (16-1)
Game 3: Waupun (19-4) vs Fond Du Lac Springs (22-2)
Game 2: Altoona (14-5) vs Wittenberg (10-5)

AAA:
Marshfield defeated Wausau 12-2 in the true championship game of the Wausau Regional. Wausau defeated Marshfield 19-0 in the first game to force the second game.
Manitowoc stayed unbeaten in the Marinette Regional, defeating the host team Marinette 4-3 in the Championship.
De Pere topped Green Bay Southwest 8-7 in the Championship game of the Green Bay Regional, finishing the tournament 3-0.
Fond Du Lac beat Oshkosh in the Championship game of the Oshkosh Regional 9-7.
