Anna Rose Redmond, age 93, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 in Shawano surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on May 4, 1929 to the late George and Lena (Hoffman) Neumeier in Gresham. Anna graduated from Gresham High School in 1947 and lived in Gresham all her life. On June 16, 1956, she was united in marriage to James Redmond in Gresham. They were married over 63 years until his passing. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and raising her family. She also enjoyed cooking and going to the casino. Anna was a member of St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church.
She is survived by: her children, Kris (Joe) Hodgson of De Pere, Pat (Teresa) Redmond of River Falls, Becky (Mark) Dillenburg of Shawano, Jackie (Rick) Dorshorst of Waukesha, Wendy (Paul) Ainsworth of Shawano, Amy (George) Craig of Green Bay, and John (Lori) Redmond of Ripon; 17 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Anna is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Anna is preceded in death by: her husband, parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 22, 2022 at St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church of Gresham with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at 9:30 am until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
