
Dolores R. Krueger, age 92 years, of Clintonville (formerly of Marion) passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, June 26, 2022.
Dolores Ruby Schmidt was born on June 30, 1929, in the Township of Dupont, Waupaca County, the third born of seven children to Edward F. and Marie (Dieck) Schmidt. She attended school in the Town of Dupont and when finished, she moved to Marion. She was united in marriage on December 13, 1947, to Albert H. Krueger in Wausau. Dolores worked for her husband as a bookkeeper for The Marion Lumberyard “Albert H. Krueger, Inc.” for 10 years.
Dolores was a very active member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Along with her husband, Albert, they served in the traveling ministry in the states of Iowa and Indiana. Dolores was currently an active member of the Clintonville Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Dolores loved to read the Bible and talked to as many people as she could about it and God’s future promises.
Her other interests included the love of cooking, gardening, flowers, animals, and birds, especially Cardinals. She loved cooking for Albert who truly enjoyed her food, saying: “Mama, that was good!” Dolores had a beautiful motherly influence on her family, friends, the congregation and community.
Survivors include one sister, Dianne (Randy) Arndt of Marion; one brother, Harold (Jeanne) Schmidt of Marion; and two brothers-in-law, Orvil Krueger of Marion and Leo (Carol) Krueger of South Carolina. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert on March 20, 2010; one sister, Dorothy (Herb) Tischauser; and three brothers, Roy (Jeanette) Schmidt, Clifford (Clara) Schmidt, and Glenn (Myra) Schmidt. She is further preceded in death by numerous in-laws on the Krueger side of the family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, with an 11:30 AM memorial talk by Minister Dean Richter.
