SHAWANO, WI- A man who is charged with leading police on a chase in May has been found incompetent to stand trial.
Aaron Renel is facing multiple charges, including resisting, felling and second degree recklessly endangering safety for the May 8th incident.
Crews responded to reports of a military vehicle that was traveling with a flat tire. Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, but were led on a chase that closed the highway.
Officials reported that Renel did not corporate with deputies and a county snow plow truck was used to eventually stop the vehicle.
A psychiatric exam determined that Renel is not competent to stand trial, but may be with treatment. Another exam was granted for Monday and another hearing will take place after the report is returned.
